Pedagogical Help-Lines

Having been a teacher of various age groups of children on a voluntary and professional basis, I know how important it is to have adequate materials to aide you in your work as a teacher, as well sources of references. I will be posting so aids that I have developed on my own as well as some interesting sites which I have found. Many a times, it is a bad teacher who kills the interest of the student, and not the other way around. As teachers, we need to ask ourselves as to why we think a particular student is good or bad. We also need to examine our methods and the way we treat them. We are dealing with precious human lives.

Education World
I find this site very useful as a part time instructor of the English Language. Teachers of other subjects could also refer to this for pedagogical ideas.
