New Year 2003

I waited for a past that never came
It must have left in the bus that came
So it had been here, but too late had I came
Just 'coz I waited for him that never came

New year besets in hues of troubled grey
Bringing a future that is so very grey
A war perhaps that would turn the sky grey?
Time will tell if I ever grow grey

Bursting catherine wheels flavour the skies
Bright bolts of light darted through the skies
Molecules of emotions, suffusing, floating up the skies
Love and hate mingles as one, distilled, to the skies

Leave behind the past, it is now a closed book
Open the pages to the chapters of a new book
Oh.. see that new man with such looks to book?
He brought me a ring with a little love-book!
